Describe the target audience for your logo

We have two distinct target audiences; (1) Legal talent looking for work, and (2) Our clients who are looking to hire legal talent.

In both cases, our target audience tends to be business professionals who are well educated, highly professional and moderately tech savvy.

The more important target audience of the two is our clients, because they are the revenue generating portion of our target audience. Most often our clients are corporate Human Resources personnel, law firm partners, law firm office managers, etc. They are usually a bit older than the legal talent that is looking for work. If there is one keyword that we want to convey to this audience, it is trust.

We are currently re-vamping our identity and the look of our brand so we need a new logo.

Ideally, we want something classically elegant but we do not want the logo to look old fashioned or clich. We are open to almost any concept. While we want a distinguishable brand for our name, the mark can be the name itself (using a creative type treatment) or it can be something separate and iconic. It is more likely that we will want the logo orientation to be horizontal in format for the primary logo, but it would be nice to see logos that can be used interchangeably in horizontal and vertical formats.

This new logo will be used in our web site, business cards, corporate letterhead, printed brochures, our printed training materials and more. While we are open to almost any creative concept, we want the final output to be elegantly simple.

Important Note:

For many print mediums that we utilize, usually a 1-color (sometimes 2-color) version of the logo will be required. Therefore, no matter how many colors are used in the primary logo design concepts for the web site, we need to this logo to be able to look great in just 1-color imprints too. That being said, for any logo to be seriously considered, please show us a 1-color version of your design as well.

Style and Concept

What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Clean and professional looking. The logo for the web site can be multiple colors but we will also want a simplified version (1-2 colors max) for any printing purposes.

What colors do you want to see in your logo?

Mostly Neutral colors. The color scheme of our new web site is dark teal. (See attached)

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

Probably not red but we are open to colors.

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Print, Web, all business letterhead and marketing materials. Also possibly as embroidery on corporate logo apparel for our staff.

Do you have other info or links you want to share?

Our organization is called the WalkerSearchGroup (Please note, the name is used as one word) and our current web site is at www.walkersearchgroup.com

We are currently underway on a project to re-vamp our corporate identity. Our current logo is too plain and we want to establish a more identifiable mark.

We are a company that recruits and places top legal talent with law firms and corporate legal departments all over the country. Candidates seeking employment can submit their resume, CV, cover letter etc at our web site for consideration for free.

We currently manage a very large and constantly growing database of highly qualified legal professionals including attorneys, paralegals, compliance specialists, legal administrative staff, etc. Firms who are looking for help (either temporary or permanent) can save time and money by having us supply them with the right candidates for the positions they are looking to fill.

This company is about people. It is about finding great talent. We work build very strong relationships with our client-partners to ensure that we fully understand their needs and then we provide them with only the most qualified candidates to ensure that our customers are getting reliable and qualified legal talent.
