LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Vox Novum means New Voice in Latin
This is an additional choir to the childrens choir; an upward movement
This is a collaborative effort between the Student Ministry and Worship Arts/Childrens Music Ministry, so they might have different ideas we just have to find a way to merge them all together.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
DESIGN DIRECTION:
Copy: Vox Novum
Logo applications: print materials (like: programs, brochures, posters, poscards), websites and email.
Image DEFINITELY to be use: old school microphone preferably an image that looks drawn rather than clip art or a photo image
Characteristics: progressive, bold, daring, trendy, edgy with a rock-n-roll feel
Preferred color family: Neutrals (browns, blacks, grays); prefer a deep navy color for the font
Colors dont like for this: primary colors or kiddie pastel colors
Font: if there is any way to find a middle ground between the two fonts below which include the thickness of the Matura (left) and the worn look of the Papyrus font (right) that would be great
DO NOT USE ANY MUSICAL NOTES
Additional images to be used: new flame to indicate the kids new voices now that they are at this age; digital equilibrium
Both ministries like the same type of microphone; but the Student Ministry preferred the design examples below while the Worship Arts ministry preferred to incorporate the digital equilibrium or new flame below with the microphone
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Audience: youth in 6th grade (11-12 years old); NOT their parents
Want this artwork to be appealing to 6th graders: should be cool, hip, edgy, fun; NOT kiddie
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Image DEFINITELY to be use: old school microphone preferably an image that looks drawn rather than clip art or a photo image
DO NOT USE ANY MUSICAL NOTES
