LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The product is called VitaRack (one word with capitalized V and R). It is a month's supply of vitamins/supplements in individual daily packs specifically designed for the needs of rock climbers.
The "rack" part of the name comes from the set of gear rock climbers use for protection as they climb up a route.
As far as colors, we like combinations of greens and black, or oranges and black. A bold font with some sort of visual (whether a climber, or a gear rack...) would be great.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
This logo will go on our website and on the package of supplements itself.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our customers are rock climbers (both male and female), target audience between the ages of 18-35. We are the ONLY company making this kind of product. Our customers use VitaRack to quicken the recovery time of their bodies from the various physical stresses of climbing. They use it to maintain optimum health so they're able to get the most out of their time and energy spent on the rock climbing as well as off the rock recovering.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
Arbor has a great logo (arborcollective.com). We like the bold font and the simple but elegant image the accompanies it.
We also like the font style of the Bern (bike/board helmets) logo.
Billabong (billabong.com) has a great font style and we like the way the one word is distinguished in two parts by the two fonts.
Clifbar (clifbar.com) has a great logo. We love the climber dangling off -- we'd like something like that though want to be careful not to have anything that resembles that too closely. Also the red box that the words are in is very bold and memorable.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Our name -- VitaRack -- must be in the design. But please DO NOT use a dash! It can either be one word, or you can put one part of the word on top of the other... whatever.
