We are a startup focused on building new technology companies. We invent tech internally, build working prototypes, put together teams to run the companies, and then seek partners or funding to move the company forward. We like to invent stuff and create something where nothing existed before.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Most importantly, we need a memorable service mark that is clean and modern (even abstract). (Please, no cliches, swooshes, lightning bolts, or lightbulbs.) The mark can incorporate the company name (Nology Ventures) and we are open to the idea of just using "Nology" in the logo treatment. The logo can be abstract but bear in mind that our image must translate into the board room too. We pitch investors ALOT and the mark should not be too outlandish or busy. We need a beautiful, timeless design.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Our primary customer is corporate and in many cases will be conservative but open to modern design.

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
No swooshes, lightning bolts, or lightbulbs. Must have something that shows well in grayscale too (faxes & BW printing) but must also be beautiful in color too since this will be the primary logo. Vibrant colors are great (we like gradients too) but pinks, purples, and reds would be inappropriate as the primary color. Blues, oranges, and/or greens (vibrant or muted) would be the most appropriate.
