Our company markets and sells products to the vending industry. Our products are sold through a distributor to vending operators. Operators are the companies that own the machines. We want to get our products into their machines.
We reach the operator/customers both directly and indirectly. Directly by making sales calls, phone calls, e-mail etc. We reach the operator/customers indirectly through distributor sales people.
We use our marketing expertise to demonstrate how our products will help vending operators make money. At the same time, we do whatever we can to make our products easier for distributor sales people to sell to their operator/customers.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Vending A'la Carte is a marketing program. It is a way of presenting a menu of products that are available to operator/customers through our distributor.
We represent several manufacturers who make frozen food products used in vending. Vending A'la Carte allows us to bundle these products into a category and present them to operators each month via e-mail. We create a listing of products--along with photos, product description, suggested retail price, availability and promotions. This easy to read chart is e-mailed to hundreds of vending operators each month. It is a useful tool for the operators when they plan their "menu" or "selection of products" that they will place in their machines.
We want to develop an identity and brand around "Vending A'la Carte." When operators/customers hear the name or see the logo--they will immediately identify with this creative menu selection program that is e-mailed to them every month.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Vending Operators--companies who own and operate vending machines. This program will be directed at the person or persons responsible for determining which products will go into their machines. Our presentation will include colorful and attractive photos of the products. It will have a classy look to it. So we want the name and logo to be classy as well. However, this program is more about making Vending A'la Carte a useful and functional resource for operators, where they look to when they are planning their purchases.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I think colorful is good, but not over-the-top with neon or pastel. The name should be easy to read and memorable.
