Business Info

Business Name

Valkrye

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Valkrye

Target Audience

What is your industry?

VIP, convoy escort, site security, and an armored car service in Latin America

Describe the target audience for your logo

Residential and commercial clients in need of a security service.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

Professionalism, Ruthlessness, Speed/Violence of Action

Style and Concept

What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Perhaps Blackwater Security's logo?
http://c1.redgreenandblue.org/files/2010...

(A) One version should read "Valkrye" at the top and "Seguridad" near the bottom of the logo, and (B) another should omit the "Seguridad" and just incorporate "Valkrye" and no other text in to the logo.

I think Norse(norway) Runes would be a nice touch...a Valkrie (dif spelling) was the Norse god Odin's winged-servant who brought the dead to Valhalla (heaven)...this must be incorporated in some way...it's appropriate to the name and the purpose of the business.

What colors do you want to see in your logo?

my instinct says Red...Black...white...Grey...but I imagine I could be convinced to go with some blues or purple shades...

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

orange and pink?

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

Website...but most importantly and visibly...on the guard's uniforms, badges, adhered to armored cars, etc.

Do you have other info or links you want to share?

I want this logo to inspire fear in pirates (yes, there are still pirates here) and confidence in my clients. I hate to ask it, but the unit badges/insignia of the German Army in WWII were excellent in this regard (look up the insignia for the SS Death's Head division)

Say what you will about the tenets of National Socialism....but the Nazis knew how to design uniforms that inspired (still do) fear.

**the above is a bit of comic levity, not an endorsement of the disgusting ethos, history, and practice of the German people circa 1933-1945.
