What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
U.S. Marshals Survivors' Benefit Fund
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1. Identify with United States Marshals Service Images with out being identical to it
2. Promote a solemn recognition of law enforcement officers that are killed in the line of duty
2. Logo should be easily identifiable as affiliated with the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Image with text imbeded with in the image or around the images. We would like the logo to be circular in nature as the US Marshal Star is circular in nature.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
Who we are: This logo will be used for the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund (USMSBF). The Benefit fund is a designated 501 (c) (3) non for profit charitable organization. the purpse is to provide support to familes who lose loved ones in the performance of their duties.
This logo will be used in both print media, electronic / online media, and will eventually be printed on fundraising items to include shirts etc.
As for design, please use the star of the US Marshals Service as the basis of your submission. After that get creative. Some possible suggestions, perhaps bright silver replication or maybe a sillohette of the badge (see 220 anniversary badge), again get creative with it. But remember, this project is for law enforcment and must also promote solemness, patriotism, etc. The year 1789, Eagle, and American Eagle in the center of the silver badge are optional. Other suggestions, perhaps include a mourning band in the project.(See DEA Logo on the below website links) Law Enforcement mourning bands are generally Black, sometimes Black in color with a Blue line in the center (see images). Again only a suggestion. This item is not needed on the project but does contribute to the concept of mourning the fallen oficers.
There are many other non-for profit web sites for law enforcement, please take a look at some of their logos during the creation of your submission. Additionally, please note the US Marshals Service Association's recreation of the badge and wording on how they incorporated the word "Association" in their badge. Again just a suggestion get creative.
