Tell us what you need

What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

EliteTree.Care | Love the view.

What is your industry?

Other

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. IDENTITY: Upper-tier local tree service in affluent Los Angeles -- not a stodgy corporation or a straightjacketed franchise.

2. FEELING: Approachable. Flexible. Artistic. Confident. Trustworthy. Experienced. Credentialed. Respectful of living trees. Nice to work with. High-quality workmanship. Know how to combine artistry with science.

3 TARGETS: Logo must work across three markets: Homeowner, Commercial and Industry (i.e. landscape architects)

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

This client's new logo (an upscale rebrand from the owner's last name) will include a tagline and a mark.

The design goal is to show a balance of quality workmanship with a respect for living beauty. The logo must work especially well on the side of a truck, as well as on a business card, and in the upper navbar. (It will be a jump-off point for the design of the website.)

Design should complement the name and tagline, not define it. Keep it simple. Delete obvious solutions, and instead, seek to elicit an instantaneous positive emotional response across this client's three markets.

Design should be crystal clear that the company name is also the URL -- which is a [dot]care and NOT a [dot]com.

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

We're leaving this design open to your imagination, within the latitude of this creative brief. You might want to Google "tree care services" to see many examples of what we DON'T want.

Remember: well-maintained trees are a point of pride for homeowners, as well as for owners of retail properties. For them, choosing a good tree service company is challenging, because there are plenty of beginners and fly-by-night operators who don't have the proper insurance, or the surefooted professionals who are true artists up there. The new logo you create should reassure an upscale clientele that EliteTree.Care is worthy of a closer look.
