What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
We are an engineering product and consulting company. We would like our logo to convey motion and action. We are a young company doing innovative products and want our logo to be fresh and exciting but also somewhat industrial looking as we are an engineering company.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Pictoral mark, abstract mark or emblem are our favorites but we'd be open to other ideas.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
The name "rotary robotics" is inspired by the rotation of aircraft propellers or other machinery as well as our origin state of Massachusetts which is known for its traffice rotaries.
We are a company that designs products and provides services related to small unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). The vehicles we work on are primarily smaller aircraft (similar in form and size to an RC plane) or quad-rotor type vehicles. Stylized views of generic aircraft could be interesting as are more generic engineering forms (gears, propellers etc). The product we are currently developing is a low cost aerial surveillance drone (essentially a flying flip video camera). It is a fixed wing airplane although we foresee working on some quadrotor type planes in the future as well. I'll provide a few links below for inspiration.
We aren't requiring it on the form since we don't want to limit the tools used but we would like the original files if possible at the end of the project. We like to use inkscape so if an svg is available we'd like to have it. At the end of the project we'd be interested in working with the winning designer to do a business card design as well.
