We are looking for a logo and stationery package to represent a traveling celebrity chefs tour where some of the biggest names in the food world will perform on stage in front of a large audience in a Broadway-style theatrical performance that will include cooking, entertaining and audience interaction.
The logo should appeal to die-hard food enthusiasts and be appropriate to the culinary world. The logo should be clean, sophisticated and aspirational, and should somehow convey that this is an on-stage, upscale food-related tour with celebrity chefs. The ideal logo will utilize food-related, organic colors (think 'zucchini green,' 'squash blossom orange,' 'lime green,' eggplant purple,' etc.)
*NOTE: This is a quick-turn project with a deadline of 3-5 days. We will require files immediately upon completion of this project. For the right designer, this could lead to additional work in the future under more reasonable timing.
This is a traveling chefs tour which will showcase various celebrity chefs who will cook and entertain in front of large audiences. Known as the "Celebrity Chefs Tour," this show will visit some of the finest performing arts centers and will include four different evenings, each featuring a different celebrity chef. Each evening performance will combine entertainment, cooking instruction, and a food festival atmosphere. Audiences will share their love of food, fine dining, and entertaining with others of similar interests and tastes. The appeal to attend these shows is the unique opportunity to share a rare, enjoyable, and entertaining evening with a well-known and beloved chef.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We require a logo (most pressing priority) for immediate use. The logo should appeal to die-hard food enthusiasts and be appropriate for the culinary world. In addition, the logo should be clean, contemporary, aspirational and have some tie-in to food, on-stage performance or other element described above.
The logo should be versatile to be used across a number of various applications, such as:

The logo should be clean, sophisticated and aspirational, and should somehow convey that this is an on-stage, upscale food-related tour with celebrity chefs. The ideal logo will utilize food-related, organic colors (think 'zucchini green,' 'squash blossom orange,' 'lime green,' eggplant purple,' etc.)
If an iconic element is used in the logo design, some ideas could include but not limited to: chefs hat, chef coat, domed food cover, stars, Broadway marquis, name in lights, search lights, stage, food utensils, etc.
Font should be clean and contemporary. Might consider a concept that includes a scripted font in a portion or all of the logo to demonstrate more of an up-scale event, but all appropriate and commonly used font types will be considered.
Attached to this project brief are some background/informational files:
- general overview presentation giving more details about the tour, demographics, etc.
- three-page Powerpoint with examples of some logos that appealed to use, either for color, font use, approach, or aesthetic. These are not being provided as a guide to what you should do or how you should design your logo, simply provided as background.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Our logo must include the following:
- must use the name exactly like this: "Celebrity Chefs Tour" (note plural form of 'Chefs')
- must include TM (trademark) insignia, as we are in the process of trademarking everything
- Must be easy to reproduce and not include any special die-cuts, emboss or anything requiring special treatment.
- We prefer two color logo, but we are open to three color or perhaps four color logo depending on the design.
We do not want:
- cutesy or hard to read font
- anything overly difficult to reproduce
