LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Uh Oh Baby! is a small baby/toddler related products start up. The first products will be "cool "(sound hard to believe because the ones out there now are so ugly) child safety items that keep kids from getting into kitchen cabinets and drawers. Future products will include things like excema creams as the ones they make for kids now totally suck. I could also see sippy cups, bibs, bath stuff and more in the future.
The big picture idea is to improve upon baby related things that are already out there and make as much product here in the US.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need an Uh Oh Baby! logo that possibly includes the childs face in the photo below. The text of the logo might be used on very small tags that would be sewn on to items for branding. The full logo will be used on all packaging, labeling and website. Most of the first items will hang on die cut cardboard cards. Other products might be blister packed on cards. A full line in the future might include things like shampoo bottles.
The logo should be simple, iconic, fun and should pop.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Products for babys/toddlers/kids are bought by parents and usually moms. However, we dont want the logo to be too feminine. We want it to reflect fun kids and cool new products like crocs were when they came out with kids shoes. Kids loved them and still do. We will try to avoid selling products to the mass market and the target audience will be somewhat sophisticated. The first product will probably sell mostly in big cities where people might spend a little more money to get something newer and nicer.
Price points will be from $5 to $15, so we are not talking about spending that much more money.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We like the old Francis Francis round logo that is found on many of their expresso machines. It has a kid in the middleof it sticking his tongue out. Its bratty and fun. We like the Gerber baby logo for its simplicity all though we need something a lot newer and more fun. We like the idea of a circluar or round logo that is contained but could have something coming out of it. California Baby packaging is good in an innocent way
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Uh Oh Baby!
and use of the boy in the attached image is preferred.
