LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Uafter4 is a new company with a mission of empowering job seekers with vital life skills leading to career success and personal happiness through self awareness, differentiation and confidence. Our offerings will include personalized one to one coaching and webinars.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A logo for Uafter4 which communicates our brand identity. The logo must inspire trust and confidence. The final logo must be delivered in all formats (just trying to protect myself, I'm not a techie and want to be sure I'll be getting the formats needed for all potential uses - print, web use, etc.).
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The target audience is the young professional (male and female). This person has either recently graduated college (within the last few months or years) or will be soon. They dont typically travel with the herd. If they did, they would be using the career placement services or alumni affairs offices on their college campus. Theyre more independent and want personalized attention. They may or may not have a clear idea about what type of career to pursue. And, they probably feel overwhelmed with all of the options available to them, the perception of not enough options in front of them and not knowing where to start (as if thats not confusing enough, theyre typically frustrated with all of the advice their getting from everyone friends, parents, siblings, colleagues,.......).
This person probably comes from a middle to upper income household and has utilized tutors for SAT preparation or perhaps a college coach to assist with their selection.
While the student/young professional is the client, it is more likely that their parents will be the customer (the person paying for the service). So, the logo must appeal to the client and not turn away their sponsor.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Left blank on purpose. I want your thinking, not mine (besides, I have good taste only when it comes to choosing a wife and maybe when picking out a suit).
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Not an "absolute", but a "nice to have" if possible..............
The key element of our program is helping each candidate understand what makes them different from the competition relative to the needs of the marketplace; and having the ability to communicate this in a compelling manner. I call this a "silver bullet" - a one or two sentence statement that will "stick" in the recruiter's mind. A "silver bullet" is what makes them different and what they want people to remember them for.
So, I would like to see some designs which incorporate in some way, a silver bullet either literally or conceptually. Again this is a nice to have, not a requirement. Especially considering the logo needs to appeal to the young professional without turning away their parents.
Also, printing costs as you know can be burdensome. Designs which are "printer friendly" will receive extra consideration.
