LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We (txt4CRM) are a TEXT MESSAGING SOLUTIONS start-up company based in Austin, Texas USA.

Text messaging is no longer just the domain of teenagers or voting for the next American Idol, it has matured into a powerful communications vehicle for companies to more effectively manage their customer relationships and business processes.

For many people and in many situations, the immediacy and ubiquity of text messaging makes it the preferred method (vs. email or voice) for giving and receiving information.

What makes our text messaging company (txt4CRM) unique is that we are focused on developing a best of class suit of CRM applications that companies can use to better manage their customer relationships.

We want to establish our brand as the leader in this emerging space of TEXT USED FOR CRM ACTIVITIES. Hence the name, txt4CRM.

Here is the thinking behind our name txt4CRM:

The abbreviated txt was chosen instead of the generic word text because its more consistent with the abbreviated language that is commonly used in text messaging (ex. LOL, OMG) and offers a more memorable branding punch.

CRM is the commonly used abbreviation for Customer Relationship Management, the broadly recognizable business term for the range of activities to attract, keep and manage customer relationships.

Our brand architecture strategy is to have the prefix txt4 be our dominant branding element upon which our portfolio individual application icons can be combined to create a branded suit of CRM text messaging applications.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

1. txt4 logo

-this prefix is our dominant branding element and should be able to stand alone

-the #4 should be primary with the txt subordinant

-needs to communicate text messaging

------ we are particularly interested (but not limited to) in exploring a graphical approach that is inspired by the cell phone key pad using the #4 and the letters are changed from the standard ghi to txt (see inspiration file #1 that is provided)

-we also want to offer as creative inspiration the iPhone SMS text messaging icon. For every iPhone user this green icon is the visual cue that represents TEXT MESSAGING. (see Inspiration file #2)

2. Define an integrated application icon solution using CRM

-Define a complimentary application icon graphic solution that can stand alone (ex. vCard) AND be combined with the txt4 branding graphic to create a unified branding graphic(s).

-The first expression of this combined txt4 & app icon will feature CRM and serve as the company logo.

-We also want to see how the application icon solution works with the some of our proposed applications using standard symbols that we will provide (see Inspiration file #3)

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Senior marketing and management decision makers at large companies. We need for them to see us a credible, subject matter experts that are leaders in this emerging space.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

-Clean, bold, distinctive

-Need to work well online and at small sizes

-Quickly establish us as in the mobile text messaging space. Using GREEN isnt a mandate although we believe that it more than any other color has come to be linked to TEXT because of the iPhone.

-Feature a complimentary icon family look

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

-A solution for BOTH the txt4 branding element AND the complimentary CRM application icon and how the two work together and apart.

-A combined txt4CRM solution
