Who are you?
Niseko Resorts Group is the umbrella brand for a group of companies/property developments in the holiday destination of Niseko, in Japan's North island of Hokkaido.
Niseko is primarily known for having some of the best powder skiing in the World but is increasingly attracting tourists in the summer for golf, hiking, fishing, paragliding, nature and organic food.
This new logo is part of a full rebranding and reworking of our websites and image.
What do you need?
Two logos with a consistent look and feel.
The NRG logo should represent quality, luxury, reliability, good taste and an exciting, active lifestyle.
We would be keen to see elements of the midori no ki logo reused to strengthen cross branding. However, we are also open to something completely new.
We are also open to have the Japanese kanji for tree () in the logo although this isn't necessary. Other elements that you might consider in the logo would be Mount Youtei which dominates the view from our main development.
Other things to take into consideration are the logo for our sister company midair no mi, (Japanese for Green Tree), a property Management company. (www.midorinoki.com). This logo uses the Ronda bold font
We are also currently looking for a logo for our main development, The Chalets at Country Resort (www.nisekocountryresort.com). We would like all the logos to have a somewhat consistent look and feel.
The Chalets at Country Resort provide a luxury holiday destination with a full concierge and shuttle service. We pride ourselves in providing a warm family friendly environment for travelers from both Japan and overseas.
The Chalets at Country Resort have been developed by Niseko Resorts Group and we would like to maintain a consistent look to the new NRG logo that we are also having designed as well as the logo for the property management company - Midori no Ki (www.midorinoki.com) as part of a full redevelopment of all of our websites.

When written in Japanese, Niseko is usually written in katakana () rather than hiragana or kanji. We do not require this in our logo but it is an option.
We want a logo for use on the corporate website and in print for stationery and product labels. The logo should contain as many of the following elements as possible: 1. Strong Balance 2. Simple - Easy to print and reproduce. No more than three colors3. Flexible - works on printed materials, website, fabric, merchandise. No gradients 4. Color - should look good in both color and black and white 5. Unique & Memorable - we want a mark that stands out
