LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Trivia Wild will be an interactive web application where users will be able to compete in trivia contests against other players from all over the world. In addition to trivia contests, the application will offer statistics tracking, user rating, and various training games, as well as social networking through forums and integration with sites like Facebook and MySpace. Users will pay a nominal monthly fee to access the site features and have the ability to compete in the contests.
The main goal of the website is to be casual fun for people of all ages. We want people to be able to play a quick trivia game in 5 or 10 minutes on a mobile device (iPhone, Palm Pre, etc...), while doing things like waiting at the dentist office, or waiting at an airport. The system will track all the user's statistics for things like what categories (Sports, Current Events, etc...) they do best in and identify areas where they need work. It will also offer different types of games for different categories, like sports, science, geography, etc...
Users will be able to set up and join games with other players from all over the world, using whatever device they have available.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo for Trivia Wild that can easily scale from the web-page to mobile devices. The logo should be eye-catching and unique. In addition, the logo must have an associated icon that conveys that this is a trivia site. A somewhat retro logo like what is linked to below would be cool, but we are wide open to just about anything that includes the Trivia Wild name and a good trivia focused icon.
The icon and logo must be a good mix of fun and professional. We don't want something that is too comical or over the top, as the target audience is a wide range of ages and demographics, and we want the end result of the application design to somewhat subdued compared to other trivia and Flash gaming websites.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Adult ages, from late high school to elderly, including both genders. We want them to easily associate our logo with trivia.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The design must include the text "Trivia Wild" in it, with any capitalization. Also, the website is going to use one of these three color schemes, and the logo should use one of the 3 as the primary pallet. There is no preference for one over the other, so the chosen logo will likely guide the final decision for the site.
