What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Thrive Westshore

What is your industry?

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1/ Thrive Westshore is committed to the wellness, fulfillment and independence of its members. 2/ Our employees are local, trusted, positive and happy people. 3/ We aren't helping you deal with aging, we're celebrating the richness of life after work, house payments and child-rearing.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Image and text. Most of the logos I like are simple and classic -- easily recognizable brands -- which Thrive Westshore is not. So anything goes.

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

Here's a brief description I wrote for an aborted Upwork logo job:

Im seeking a logo for a new business called Thrive Westshore. Beginning in July well provide services, activities and outings for retirees who live at home.

Well be operating on a fairly expensive membership model with highly-personalized service. Our paying clients are retirees -- sometimes their children. Our current website at www.thrivewestshore.com. (Ignore the logo just a placeholder.)

Thrive refers to our objective: Keep these folks independent and vital by getting them out of their homes, meeting others, performing fulfilling tasks. Westshore is our target region -- the northwest suburbs of Cleveland Ohio. There are no must-haves. My strong preference is that the logo is either fairly elegant/conservative to appeal to the seniors of a certain class -- or positive/happy/sunny to express vitality. And if you can do both, all the better!

No strong feelings on color either, but my hope is that Thrive Westshore will be a happy, positive and fun place so no dominant charcoal and black!

Well use the logo in all of the traditional manners. But an important use will be side-of-a-car signage, especially as we build awareness over the first year or two. The signs wont be large, like the side of a paint truck. Many of the vehicles will be the sedans driven by our employees, delivering meals or picking up clients for errands.Because of that, ideally the logo will include the name of the company, or at least work in conjunction with the name.
