LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

We're a startup company that manufactures our own "secret recipe" beer-batter mix for deep-fried fish, seafood, chicken, mushroom and vegetables. The recipe was originally used by our founder's successful British Fish-n-chips restaurants in the 70s and 80s. We are headquartered in Florida and plan on distributing our batter-mix nationally, initially via internet sales. Eventually the product line will expand to include tartar-sauce, salad dressings, and other seasoning spice packs. The company will be young, fun, vibrant, charitable, socially-conscious, yet admit that we're not about tofu, but rather play off the fact that "Fried is a Food Group."

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need a logo that reflects what we do as well as our fun personality. Keep in mind, this may turn into a restaurant franchise down the road so the logo has to fit well into signage, T-shirts, business cards, website and other medium. Keep in mind, this is not for just deep-frying fish, but also seafood, chicken, and vegetables. We would prefer a mascot as part of the logo, though it's not a requirement. Font should be easily legible. We like the yellow and red colors because they are bright and vibrant, but also show low cost and speed -- hmmm, McDonald's figured that one out before us. The packaging will be made of recycled craft paper (brown) so the colors need to work with that as a background.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Anyone who likes to eat.

WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:

1) http://www.cartoonlogozone.com/uploaded_... - we like the mascot and colors.

2) http://www.fifisseafood.com/images/seafo... - like the different twist on the design

3) http://islamoradacondo.net/assets/images... - similar to what we have now. Replicates into black and white well.

4) http://rottenworm.com/fryshacklogos/ - These were logos we designed ourselves that would put up for a vote. # 2 and #1 were the most popular. We like the "cooler" fish look of #2 better than #1, but the overall structure of #1 is easier to replicate.

*Though we hesitate showing you the logos we created because we didn't want to influence your design and imagination, we also respect your time and don't want you to get too far off track. BUT if you have something totally different in mind that will blow us away, don't hold back. We're very open!

WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:

Mascot is a plus. Bright colors a plus.
