LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

Our project, The Winnetka East is a proposed mixed-use retail/residential development in one of the exclusive communities north of Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan. The Winnetka East is a pedestrian oriented mixed-use development proposed to contain over 40,000 square feet of newly constructed retail and office space and approximately 70,000 square feet representing 33 state-of-the-art, private residences with 5-star amenities. The project is a rare infill development situated in the east business district of downtown Winnetka, Illinois. Situated with frontage on Lincoln Avenue and Elm Street in an area having recently undergone a cultural and retail renaissance, the site is immediately opposite the Metra Train station with commuter rail service to downtown Chicago. High-end retailers, cafs and restaurants have begun to transform the area into a busy shopping and dining district. The community is characterized by traditional structures, most notably in the Tudor style.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We seek a logo and graphic identity for the development, which will be used for web and print promotion of the property. The logo for the "The Winnetka East" is the image for the whole development (residential and commercial) For reference projects palette of materials and architectural elements include earth-toned brick and stucco with pale blue paint trim and dark green awnings (re: rendering attached).

The logo should convey the elegance and tradition of Winnetka, while conveying the enthusiasm and revitalization of this commercial district.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

Target audience for the retail portion of the project is the affluent community of Winnetka, characterized by well-educated, high income, fashion and health conscious consumers. Many of the area retailers are independent boutiques, but notable national Winnetka retailers include: Waterworks, Talbots, Pierre Deux, and Ann Sacks Tile.

Target audience for the residential component is the Affluent Empty-Nester cohort. These are primarily long-time area residents interested in down-sizing from a single-family residence, but preferring to stay in the area and enjoy access to the shops and entertainment of the village center.
