This includes funding veterinary care for Humane Society animals who require care/surgery prior to adoption, stray animals, Extreme hardship cases where an owner cannot afford a procedure needed for their pet, and providing assistance to breed rescue groups.

Describe the target audience for your logo

Adults/young adults who would be potential donors, adopters, foster home providers, volunteers for fund raisers, or interested in estate planning or advanced directives. Compassionate, caring people who value the importance of animals in our lives and appreciate the expense of providing quality veterinary care. Benevolence and generosity to support a program that provides veterinary care for animals who need a procedure but do not have the resources.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. Compassionate/Caring/Benevolent
2. Companion Animals - primarily but not limited to dogs and cats.
3. Scientific/educational - quality leading edge care provided.

We fund care for animals in need when resources are not available or the animals have no owner, giving them a second chance at life. Animals are then placed in a carefully selected adoptive home.

Style and Concept

What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?

Image and text. envision combining science (stethoscope in a heart shape with the stem being the S for Second chance, combined with silhouetted animals)and caring - hands wrapped around animals or patting heads, Leash forming S for second chance

What colors do you want to see in your logo?

Minimal colors - has to look good in Black and White/grey scale for letterheads and copies. Black, blue, grey, maroon, forest green.

What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?

Rainbow/multiple colors. Intricate design that will not reproduce well on Tshirts and Banners.

Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?

WEb page, Facebook page, banners, Letter head for correspondence, Cards (thank you cards, donor recognition, memorials), power point presentation, T-Shirts, fund raiser events. Has to look good in print.

Not too "cartooney" . The Logo for The Lodi Veterinary Hospital www.lodivet.com is a very strong brand for our Large mixed animal practice. This hospital is the founders of the Second Chance Fund. We are looking for a logo for The Second Chance Fund that will serve us as well as the LVH logo.

Attempts to interchange "Second" with 2nd have not looked professional but would consider.
