I am starting up a Direct Marking company. My goal is to provide creative, distinct DM that does not hurt the eyes due to an insane volume of boring copy. I want the DM work to be memorable and different providing customers a solid return on their investment.

Describe the target audience for your logo

I am based in Toronto and will be targeting local SMB's from bar's, restaurants, to local sports teams, to OHL teams. My target audience wants to be visible within their market with creative and distinct branding that increases awareness and boosts sales.

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

Creative: DM has a dull and boring reputation. People don't want to receive it and do not interact or respond to it. A good DM campaign has a ROI of 5%. I want to do something different and create DM ads that connect with the consumers and engage their interest.
Memorable: I want to send DM that is not throw in the trash after first glance, and rather is shown to another member of the team as something funny or original.
Professional: I also would like the logo to speak to 'The Possum House' as a professional brand that can be taken seriously.

Style and Concept

What colors do you want to see in your logo?

I have no prior logo and am just starting up. I am open to bright colors as well as subdued ones. As long as the graphics are strong and connect with the consumers.
