About Your Company

I am looking for a logo for an event that we plan to run annually. Ideally the logo will be no more than 3 colours. One or two colours is also fine.

This event is aimed at people that are wilderness guides, ropes course facilitators, white-water/flat-water canoe tripping guides, and outdoor educators all over the world. It will be held in Algonquin Park, Canada. People range in age from approx. 25-45 years of age. We want this logo to have a “cool” outdoor brand vibe. People in this crowd wear brands such as Patagonia, Arc’teryx, Scarpa, Icebreaker, etc.

The logo needs to include the words: The Outdoor Collective and ideally have something that represents the outdoors.

Ideally the logo will have some kind of image that conveys the idea of a “collective.”
According to Wikipedia, “A collective is a group of entities that share or are motivated by at least one common issue or interest, or work together to achieve a common objective.”

The event is aimed at bringing outdoor professionals together for workshops to help enhance their teaching, re-certifying qualifications such as Wilderness First Aid, White Water Qualifications, High Ropes Certifications, Canoeing Certifications, etc.

The hope is that this event is an opportunity for people to come together to share their passion for the outdoors, and to spend some time in the wilderness with like-minded people.

This logo is going to be used on our event website, posters, social media platforms, and T-shirts.

Vision

People will be proud to wear it on a shirt to represent that they are a part of a meaningful group of people who are working together to professionalize and advance the outdoor industry. It's classy, cool and speaks to people in their 30s and 40s. It's not a cartoon or "camp" like. It's clean, simple, yet effectively conveys the idea of the outdoors and the concept of a "collective."

This event is being hosted by a company called ALIVE Outdoors Inc. (www.aliveoutdoors.com) at a location in Algonquin Park called Arowhon Outdoor Centre (camparowhon.com) We will need this logo in AI, Vector Format, etc.
