I have attached below a "first draft" of my logo that has been done.. i like the text integration with the koru but is not quite right... would like some new ideas on how this could look!

I have always been drawn to the rainforests in new zealand where i am from , especially the fern fonds before they unfurl to become a fern leaf. This has always been a symbol of new life and growth for me. The symbol in maori culture is called a koru.
