Tell us what you need
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The company is a new male grooming company which will make and sell products like hair wax, razors, body trimmers, moisturisers, face washes etc. The Logo needs to be fun/funky yet also convey an air of quality. The brand will be mid market - so not the most expensive and top of the range - but also not low end and needs to convey an air of quality but not necessarily high end luxury.
The idea behind Smooth Gorilla is that it will be products designed by men, for men so there also needs to be a certain no nonsense manly type approach.
A lot of the advertising around the brand will also be fairly humorous however - I am not looking for a comedy logo. It needs to be something a fairly fashion conscious guy would be happy to wear on a T-Shirt.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I am open to suggestions here - but I would probably sway towards image + text.
I would like if possible to have the Gorilla theme incorporated into the logo somehow - but without making it seem tacky or childlike. i.e. I definitely don't want a cartoon gorilla. There doesn't have to be a gorilla in the logo - I'm totally open to ideas here.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
The brand will be positioned somewhere between the L'Oreal Men Expert skin care range (which you can find on Google) and Bulldog Natural Grooming Products - http://meetthebulldog.com.
So it needs to stand out on the shelves when it's up against these two.
