LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are starting a Christian Church in an area of St. Paul MN that primarily consists of "Cultural Creatives"
Cultural Creatives buy more books and magazines, listen to more radio, including classical music and NPR, and watch less television, than any other group. They are aggressive consumers of the arts and culture. They are people who appreciate good stories, and want views of the "whole process" of whatever they are reading, from cereal boxes to product descriptions to magazine articles. They like a systems overview: they want to know where a product came from, how it was made, who made it, and what will happen to it when they are done with it. Cultural Creatives are the ones who brought the criterion of "authenticity" to the marketplace. They lead the consumer rebellion against things that are "plastic", fake, imitation, poorly made, throwaway, clich style or high fashion. If they buy something in a traditional style they want it to be authentically traditional. They are the prototypical consumers of the experience industry, which offers a more intense/enlightening/enlivening experience rather than a particular product. They are also the prototypical innovators in, and consumers of, personal growth psychotherapy, alternative health care and natural foods. What ties these together is a belief in holistic health: body-mind-spirit is to be unified.
Think college students and professors, highly educated, outside the box thinkers, urbanites, hipsters, global thinking, slightly left leaning politics, the NPR crowd, intellectuals and artists.
The community values locally owned and grown, organic, wholistic thinking.
The name of our church is The Gallery Covenant Church
Our key Bible verse is Ephesians 2.10 "We are God's masterpiece...created anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo for our church, The Gallery Covenant Church.
"The Gallery" should be highlighted more than "Covenant Church."
Please include several color options. Also we would like an image with the logo and text together in one image and the logo separated from the text "The Gallery Covenant Church"
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We are not picky about about colors or fonts, but we do like clean modern designs.
We like these websites as something to think about:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
we do not want any cheesy christian imagery like fish, praying hands, angles, etc. Crosses are ok but they shouldnt look like clip art.
Think something Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollack, Frank Lloyd Wright, Gaudi, Salvodor Dali would appreciate looking at.
