LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Nightingale-Conant is the world's largest publisher of personal and spiritual growth audio programs. We have been in business for over 50 years and have published many top speakers/authors such as: Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Robert Kiyosaki, Brian Tracy, Larry Winget, Deepak Chopra, Gregg Braden, Sylvia Browne, and Ric Edelman. We publish high-end programs in the price range between $39.95 and $299.95. Our website is www.nightingale.com.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a creative cover design for a 6 CD + workbook audio program called:
The FlexBrain Method: Stimulate Your Mind and Energize Your Life by Nightingale Learning Systems.
The specs of the cover are 6.5 inches x 6.5 inches.
We need the file to be delivered in a format that can be adapted and edited by our creative team.
To stimulate ideas for the cover, here is a concept which details the main ideas in the FlexBrain Method program:
Do you know that in just a few minutes of flexing your brain every day, especially the opposite side of your dominant brain method (right brain vs. left brain) you can prevent diseases of mental decline such as dementia and Alzheimers and much more? The late, great neurobiologist Lawrence Katz popularized the term neurobics for engaging different parts of the brain to do familiar tasks. For example, research has shown that simple activities like brushing your teeth or dialing the phone with your non-dominant hand can strengthen the pathways on the opposite side of your brain.
The 5-minute daily brain workout youll learn in this program can increase brain cell activity as you age, and strengthen mental sharpness, memory and intelligence. Youll also learn simple strategies to boost your daily brain power such as:
A three-step system for peaceful and deep REM sleep
The five best supplements scientifically proven to increase neuron connections in the brain
The forms of physical exercise that boost brain power most efficiently
Stress-management techniques to decrease cortisol in your system the #1 brain cell killer
And many more!
This dynamic product is the second in a line of new programs, branded Nightingale Learning Systems, produced by Nightingale-Conants internal research think tank dedicated to providing personal development and skill-building programs that are relevant to the realities of our modern world.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
*60% male; 40% female.
*Upper middle income to high income consumers; average household income of $85K and up.
*Well educated consumer; 75% have bachelors degrees, and 30% have some advanced education (graduate school, executive training, etc.)
*Success and personal growth oriented consumers who are leaders and who prefer to "move towards" positive outcomes vs. "move away from" negative outcomes.
*Middle aged consumers who are interested in keeping their brain healthy, active and alert to continue to compete in their jobs and contribute to their larger community through their senior years.
*We want our customers to think of Nightingale-Conant as a high-end, premium priced publisher, who distributes life changing ideas. We are looking to position the content as unique, different and "exclusive"----so it is not compared to the vast amounts of audio content available on the web (to avoid looking at the product as a "commodity.") To make a comparison, if we were in the chocolate business we want our customers to think of Nightingale-Conant, and by extension, this program, as the Godiva (gold wrapped gourmet chocolate experience)----not as Hershey's!
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Here are some web page links to some of our favorite program designs from the past:
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We are not opposed to showing the shot of a brain, but we have done many covers with this image in the past (for other learning/mind power programs). We would prefer to pick a concept that used different imagery (alone, or mixed with brain imagery, where the brain is not dominant) if possible. What's unique about this program is the "flexibility" angle----keeping one's brain flexible and open to change.
