LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The purpose of my brand is to inspire people (particularly black people) to conjure the spirit of power, intelligence and resilience displayed by our ancestors. It should inspire a new generation of people to learn the honor lessons of the past, dedicate our lives to empowerment through enlightenment and reject any form of government sustenance. We will also gain the strength to think objectively with allegiance to our ideals instead of political parties. We are inspired particularly by the teachings of these three men:
Booker T. Washington- The intelligent statesman that was willing to build wealth and respect through education and industry. He knew that the only real way to gain equality was to be able to offer something of value besides pure labor and votes.
Malcolm X- The unapologetic and skilled communicator willing to defend his people. He remained loyal to his ideals and never was afraid to speak truth to power and had no problem calling out the liberals as the frauds that they are.
Marcus Garvey- A powerful man that was never intimidated and didnt mind parading his pride in the face of anyone. He believed that black people could compete with anyone and are not inferior.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need for this brand to portray an attitude that is aggressive, relentless, respect for history and to show an unapologetic love for self and desire to control our own destiny. It will be displayed on the website and any other marketing material.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
The target audience is black people and conservatives. I want them to think that this is an entity that is promoting personal responsibility, respect for american culture, the desire for everyone to achieve the american dream, and respect for everyone's history by learning from the past.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
red, black and green (must have). Here is some imagery that inspires us:

weapons (willingness to defend)
black closed fist (power)
the US flag, bald eagle (this is our country as well)
anvil (industry- which is needed to gain wealth and respect in our society)
The middle passage of slavery picture (homage to those who never made it, reminder to honor them through self-improvement, empowerment)
The photo of Malcolm X standing at the window with his gun
Statue of Booker T Washington (at Tuskegee University)- removing the veil of ignorance from the slave
