LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
I am a high school Junior who is very interested in community service, especially as it relates to isolated Seniors. This logo design is for a community service project that I designed to link Teens to Seniors in a simple, warm way.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need an overall Logo for my project - an identifiable type face & integrated graphic element that together convey an immediate positive impression of this community service program. The project name is "GreeTeens" (which I am in the process of trade-marking) This logo will be used wherever the project is presented, including printed materials, flyers, posters, T-shirts, banners, etc.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Target audience includes Teens, Seniors, Schools, & Senior care centers. The impression that I want to convey is warm, friendly, approachable, simple, in a fresh, contemporary way. I want them to see at a glance that this is a happy, simple, "do-good" program, without appearing too juvenile or "formulaic".
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
In general, I like designs that are simple, symetrical, have a strong central name registration & a smoothly integrated "visual pop" element. In browsing CrowdSpring, I especially was drawn to the Treehugger project entries by Hintzegruppen, beckyjane424, julesart, vassjozsef due to their simplicity, freshness, & integration of the name into the art.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
Strong central name identification that is very easy to read at a glance. Simple integrated logo (graphic element)that is easily reproducible (not too detailed or fussy) Bright or deep color palette that Seniors can easily read. Should be OK to reproduce in black & white as well as the color palette designated by the logo designer. "GreeTeens" name should have a small trade-mark designation, if possible.
