LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
We are a web site with the goal of making eating with our kids easier and more fun. We will primarily offer recipes, but will also offer tips, nutrition guides, and the like.
The name, tastebudding, is meant to evoke curiosity, interest, and learning around food.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo for our company and website. We want our logo to evoke the company's core values of food, curiosity, simplicity, and fun.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Parents (not kids! - although kids will benefit, they will not be our users). We imagine our users will mostly be moms, but do not want the feel to be overly feminine. Our users will care about fast, healthy (although not necessarily "I grew this organic basil organically in my rooftop garden), meals that they can enjoy with their children.
Our users value design that is elegant/contemporary, but not stuffy or overly formal.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
www.playgrounder.com - love the way this design pops visually (just a little too childish for us though)
www.zendesk.com - clean, attractive
www.frenchlaundry.com - just elegant
Vintage refrigerators (this not a must-have, but the idea of a refrigerator cracked open with a glow coming out has occurred to us)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Something organic/natural (grass, corn stalks, a field)
The word "tastebudding"
The color green
