What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Support Your Herd is a non-profit dedicated to improving accessibility to quality information about vaccination. To be clear, this is pro-science. While we do not want to minimize the weight of this topic, we want to invoke the feeling of approachability. The logo should provide a clear message and also invite someone who sees the logo to ask what this is all about.
The "customer" should feel trust, approachability, curiosity and pride.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
In this particular case, I think image + text would be the best option. Typography will be important because it's text-heavy and we want to invoke a particular set of emotions. This should not have a medical, sterile feel to it yet should still invoke confidence. Playful would be ok if it works with the approachability aspect.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
This is a new site, so I do not have anything to share at this time. There is not a set palette yet so this logo will probably inform further design. Be playful and open with colors as we will likely do printed materials, including tshirts. If purple finds its way into the design, I won't be upset! :)
