StormWind is a multimedia rich, eLearning company targeting mid to large organizations. Our creative and engaging solutions allow us to take boring, drab sales and product training and bring it to life with flash animation and video content. Most eLearning is nothing more than eReading...text on a screen with cheesy clip art graphics. StormWind is a dramatic departure from the norm. We want our logo to somehow show that. Below our logo (or somewhere around it), we want to add the descriptor tag "Knowledge Studios". That will help our clients understand that we are in the training space but with a unique approach.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a fresh, interesting logo that captures the personality of the company and products: engaging, interactive, dramatic and a powerful force. Our training solution will transform and change the way your employees absorb new material through fresh, stimulating, engaging content. Our name, StormWind, suggests something different right out of the gate. Our competitors are companies with training or learning in the name. We don't fit that boring mode. Preferably, the logo is 2 to 3 colors max (including black) to keep print costs reasonable but you may come up with a great 4 color logo for the web and create a cleaner print version. We don't want anything too playful and childish looking though. It needs to be highly professional as our clients are business executives.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Fortune 500 and mid to large companies with 200-5000 employees. We are selling to Director/VP level in the training, sales, marketing and sometimes operations areas. Although the Sales & Mkg clients are usually very creative, we can't get too crazy or complex with the look. Have we made this hard enough yet? So not too complex but not boring or childish. We know you are up for the challenge.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
We are open to colors that pop and show creativity. Red is over used in the training biz so use it sparingly. Blue is interesting. Green works well too. We are open to using a black background so it jumps out. But again, have fun! We will give you feedback on what we like. Logos we think are too boring and plain: skillsoft.com and learningtree.com. Our approach is much more like a hollywood studio. Although in a completely different business, we like the logo of hotstixgolf.com...simple yet memorable.

Must have: unique and interesting logo. Somehow gives the feel of what we are about.
