What is your industry?
Describe the target audience for your logo
Our main target market is small businesses and start-ups, who may or may not be technology companies. Nowadays, having a technology presence isn't a recommendation, it's a requirement. We are aiming for motivated, educated, entrepreneurs who may not have the expertise to set up and host their own websites, install wireless, fix their computers, etc.
As a secondary market, we will provide on-site computer repair services to wealthy individuals who can afford the personal attention. This is more important to us in the beginning, as they currently represent
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
That we're knowledgeable, pride ourselves on keen customer service, and edgy.
We are in grad school, or just out, and compared to a lot of other consulting firms out there, very young. We think that this puts us in a very good position compared to other older competitors: we work harder, have more energy, are more up-to-date on current technology, are more open to different industries, less afraid of failure, etc, but if we don't acknowledge our age at least a little, while still maintaining professionalism, we will just seem inexperienced.
Think recording industry executive: a suit and tie with an eyebrow piercing.
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
I lean towards simple, abstract, and perhaps tribal designs. Cyberpunk and technology themes are very good, but they must be subtle.
I would prefer image only to text and image, and would want to avoid text only, unless you have a very awesome idea. Then we want to see it! ^_^
Once again, we like simple! ;-)
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
A small color palette, or black and white is preferred.
If you use more than one or two colors in addition to black, the design must be submitted with a black and white version, mainly for use on business cards and stationary.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
I'm very open to a variety of colors!
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
This logo is mainly being designed for print. As we are marketing towards people who are less computer savvy, we need to be able to easily adapt the logo for business cards and letter heads.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
These are images I DO NOT like, and are completely against what I'm going for:
A design like this is more up my alley:
I hope that helps!
