What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Spy Toy Warehouse
What is your industry?
Online Retailer of Toys
Describe the target audience for your logo
We are working on a new online store (it will be SpyToyWarehouse.com) and we need a cool logo for it. The logo should have a spy kid theme to it as the online store will focus only on spy toys for kids games from multiple vendors. The logo needs to encompass spying combined with the feel of a high-tech warehouse (image costco-like with a large selection of spy toys but really Spy HQ; where you go to get the gear you need for any mission). Would like it to appeal to both kids and adults (who have memories of spying as a kid).
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Huge selection of spy toys and toy bundles
A logo that appeals to both kids and adults
Fun! The toy target audience is kids ages 6-10 (both boys and girls but boys make up 85% of the audience).
Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
Ok to combine both text and images providing it doesn't look busy or cluttered. You may want to incorporate a magnifying glass and/or secret agent glasses or something that illustrates spying. You also may be able to do something with the word warehouse-- a roof over it perhaps?
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
Would like to have the logo work on a darker background (dark grey or black) which is what the web site will be. However, the logo should be readable on a white background if inverse for printing on plain white paper (customer invoices, etc).
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
All colors are fine providing the logo is not overly distracting. It needs to stand out, convey cool spy toys but without being too busy or containing too many graphical elements. We want to be known as the source for spy toys on the web and will also incorporate free content and ideas for kids. Will be very cool with dark nav elements and white or light grey text and images of kids that pop.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
Focus the design on a dark background. Make sure it is provided to us in vector (.ai/.eps) and designed at 300 DPI for print.
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
Check the keywords "spy" or "spy kid" on istock.com for some initial ideas. Again, don't overly complicate the logo-- make it cool and fun and convey the message above.
