LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
Lanai Partners provides editorial and marketing services to a diverse array of clients, primarily in the media industry. Currently, our client base consists of former employees and colleagues who are aware of the quality we bring to a project through their experience with us.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We're looking for a logo that we can use for a small website, business cards, etc.
We're a small shop that isn't actively recruiting at the moment, and if it didn't sound too obnoxious, we'd say that we're elite, having the luxury to pick and choose our projects. We're looking for a logo that reflects this vibe, and if it's possible, we'd like to bring a subtle fun element to it (we're also known for not taking things too seriously and having a sense of humor).
The name Lanai Partners actually came from The Golden Girls, our favorite TV show -- the ladies would often have their best conversations out on the lanai (patio). So if there's a way to bring a bit of cheekiness, perhaps referencing the Golden Girls, to the logo while keeping it professional and sophisticated, great.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Primarily media companies who have more money than they do time - they don't have the time or resources to manage mid-level freelancers themselves, and they're looking to work with professionals who have extensive management experience and can pull the entire project together with minimal direction.
WE LIKE THESE EXAMPLES:
We're open to all ideas but kind of envisioning a thin, sleek font, perhaps with a Lilly Pulitzer color pallete to play on the Miami/Golden Girls reference.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE THIS IN OUR PIECE:
The words Lanai Partners, obviously! :)
