What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

Skillet Networks

What is your industry?

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. Skillet Networks is for everyone - hardcore foodies and toe-dipping home chefs alike.

2. Skillet Networks is about unique and engaging online content, a new paradigm in food programming online.

3. We're sexy, fun, and Internet-savvy. It's not EpicMealTime, but it's definitely not PBS cooking shows either. We're hoping to build a strong community of people passionate about food, drink, cooking, and technology.

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

Image and text, please. Ideally would like to be able to use both pieces separately AND together. Logo should fit easily into all standard web banner sizes.

Stylistically we're looking for something modern, web-focused, not cartoony.

Do you have any other info or links you want to share?

Our target demographics are varied, depending on the specific programming. But in general, the demo will lean slightly older and slightly more female. With that said, the logo should be pretty gender-neutral.

Here's what we like/don't like about the various food logos out there (see materials uploaded): Chow - We like this one. It's bold, simple, modern, and feels like a great web logo.... Food Network - A little too feminine, this one obviously plays to a specific demo.... Saveur - Too "nose in the air" for us. Food is for everyone!.... Cooking Channel - Simple, but boring..... EpicMealTime - Again too gender-specific. The image part is good, as it speaks to their viewers, but not right for us..... Serious Eats - Too cartoony.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
