What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
Crafting for Purpose is a blog I started to share crafting tips and tutorials with beginner crafters. The purpose is to encourage creativity in anyone with interest as a way of expression and for therapeutic purposes. I am a huge fan of small business and also like to feature others on my blog. I am planning to soon open my own Etsy jewelry shop which will carry the Crafting for Purpose name. I would like to communicate creativity, and simplicity through my logo as well as quality. My logo will represent my blog and my jewelry, so I need it to work for both.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I love logos like Apple, Nike, Good Eggs, Target, and Volkswagon. I love how they are simple yet very impactful. I love basic shapes and clean designs that aren't really busy. I do not generally like too much color or anything that seems to point to being just for women.
My audience will be mostly women in their 20s-40s who are looking for creative pieces that are up to date but lasting and original.
My favorite fonts are Julius one and Helvecta light. I currently use Amantic or Goon for the Crafting for Purpose logo, but I am also open to change. I would like my logo to match with the colors I currently use on my blog. I will be using this logo in different sizes, and I will be using it online as well as printing it on packaging I put together myself.
I really like the idea of having a memorable image as part of my logo instead of focusing on the name itself.
There is a design that if you're up to it I would like you to draw inspiration from, because it really encompasses the kind of style I love, and it was actually inspired by jewelry designs. It is wall art that I created for my blog. I will add the link in the links section.
