Seton Hall University. A Catholic institution in South Orange, New Jersey USA
The University is creating a SART team to assist victims of sexual assault. We will train advocates to man a 24 hour hotline to provide confidential information about victim rights, resources such as medical and counseling services as well as assistance in reporting to police or University administration if the victim desires. SART advocates will personally accompany victims at any stage of the process if requested. SART volunteers will be trained students and staff members who will also particpate in providing sexual assault awareness programming for the University throughout the year. This logo will be heavily promoted on our campus and should be a readily recognizable symbol for the University community as well as for the function that it serves.
One in four college aged women will be sexually assaulted in their college career and most clients will be women. However men can be victimized too and the logo should not be exclusive to women. This is a young demographic.
This will be a youthful, hip target audience
The University has a trademarked logo manual which can be found at: http://admin.shu.edu/graphics-manual.pdf
If the design includes Seton Hall University or SHU, the designer should follow the guidelines found there.
