Style and Concept
What logo styles do you like (text only, image only, text and image, etc.)?
I like the idea of using a skirt image, but the one I currently use looks homemade (which it was). I need to convey that we are custom...but I don't' like using forms and croquis because we are not actually skirt designers, just manufacturers of skirts that are the best fitting most unique fabrics in all the southeast and growing nationally. we I would like to see the text and image together and separately since I will be using them for different purposes. The text I will use on shipping labels. The logo I will use on inside packaging for mailing skirts. The combined logo I will use for door signs and t-shirts and website.
What colors do you want to see in your logo?
My existing color palette is hot pink/magenta (photoshop color D11B97) and silver/light gray.
I have used soft pink for some marketing products because it looks more sophisticated on paper. I am not married to this color palette and would be open to see something new (yellow and silver may be cool)
We currently use a image that I made 3 years ago and you can tell it looks more homemade than professional. view www.sevierskirts.com to see what we currently use.
What colors do you NOT want to see in your logo?
i am tired of greens, I feel it is overdone.
I would like to stay away from trendy colors like teal and purple.
Where will your logo be used (print, website, etc.)?
it will be used on print, website, sign on front door, business cards, stuffers in mailed skirts, stickers on the mailers, etc
Do you have other info or links you want to share?
www.sevierskirts.com is my website.
This year we are launching our maternity line. it will be sold on the e commerce website that is currently being made. on this e commerce website we will also be selling toddler/preteens. I would like this logo image to be slightly altered with each division. for example, the image will grow a bump for maternity, shrink for toddler and preteen, and have a symbol like a measuring tape be the "V" in sevier.
The parent company is Sevier Skirts. Underneath them are Sevier Custom, Sevier Maternity, and Sevier Toddler/Preteen.
