The purpose of the organization which this logo will represent is to provide education to the public. The most important things we want the logo to convey are: Trustworthy, unbiased, non-partisan, factual, quality information that is understandable to anyone.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I am thinking image+text but am open to ideas. I like the Hoover Institution logo here: http://www.hoover.org. It's simple, clean, horizontal rather than vertical.
