LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
SAY YES SPORTS is a business dedicated to instructing parents and youth athletes on the fundamentals of movement to decrease the risk of injury, improve performance, and focus the sport back on fun with age appropriate guidelines that are conveyed in a step by step process of education and training. This progressive and building block format of information will provide a parent the necessary tools to make the best decisions for their child in their sporting career and young athletes the opportunity to maximize the body's potential by learning to move smarter and then transitioning to bigger, faster, and stronger. The focus of this company is smarter, safer, and focused on fun to transition a young athlete to the level of bigger, faster, and stronger. SAY YES SPORTS uses a variety of tools, including one on one interaction, groups, camps, team lessons, online education, and a "show" not "tell" method of instruction. SAY YES SPORTS is not into sport specialization, hitting the gym 3 hours a day, running until your legs fall off, or pushing to the end result of an operating table and intense physical therapy. SAY YES SPORTS is about answering the "Y's" of parents and young athletes, providing them the education, guidance, and focus to make the best decisions with the most accurate information.
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
Logo that will be identifier for company. Will be used on website, business cards, shirts, etc.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Parents with children in sports, around 8-14 years old. High school age parents are also good but the 8-14 bracket is the best. We want our image to be focus around concepts such as "smarter, safer, and focused on fun" "you as WHY we show you HOW" "the building blocks to success" "the fundamentals of movement" "balanced approach to training" "train the mind and body to work together" etc. We want parents to look at us as the means from which all else will develop. We want to be the foundation to athletic successes, providing a guidebook from which a parent can make the best decisions for their child. We want them to look to us for guidance, not the black and white answers that come so easy but are filled with possible dangerous consequences. We want parents to think of SAY YES SPORTS as the starting point, the place from where the journey can confidently be taken from. SAY YES SPORTS is to be thought of as foundational, something that can be lived by for years and get the same results as the first day it is learned.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Want emphasis on the "Y"; audience is parents but is still about youth sports: like something that is professional but adheres to concepts of education, movement, the foundation, building blocks, step by step approach, success today and years down the road, the right way, (smarter, safer, and focused on fun). Want a design that will create the idea that this symbol stands for doing everything that I can possible do as a parent for my child because they are worth it.
Working the letters into a creative and flowing concept that is not too busy would be great.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Not like your personal training (bigger, faster, stronger) No drawings of people lifting weights or hitting a baseball or running with a football. This is fundamental. The concept is movement but not an individual sport or activity. Needs to have a global appeal for athleticism but professional. Nothing cheezy or gimmicky, this concept is not a quick fix or the "only answer." Cannot be something that represents " a pill" cure to injuries or "one exercise" that will fix all of your problems.
