Rotocraft does the majority of their work for overseas customers, with a lot in Australia. So the logo needs to convey the weight and feel of a global supply company.
We do not want any helicopter graphics, blades, or propellers in the logo because they are going into more manufacturing rather than repair and doesn't want to be tied down to that exact service or industry. The logo can have more of an aerospace/aviation feel but in general, we want a corporate-looking, professional logo. We initially liked the idea of a blue, gray, black and white color palette for this brand and that's what we'd like to see first, but we are open to other combinations that might make sense for this industry.
Regarding characteristics, for these opposing sets we've bolded the preference for this logo:
