LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:

This project is for a consumer products manufacturer that has developed a new line of skin protection solutions for athletes and military personnel called Dry Goods. This revolutionary skin protection technology has patents pending and remains secret at this time. What we can tell you is that Dry Goods will provide unparalleled skin protection from the chafing, burning and blisters associated with serious athletic exercise and competition.

Dry Goods represents the pinnacle of athletic skin protection technology because it blocks unwanted sweat to keep skin dry, cool and comfortable during a long run, hike or game. Dry Goods keeps working too when athletes are not on the field, keeping feet, arms, legs and other body parts cool, dry and comfortable for hours. The key benefit of Dry Goods is that it allows athletes to perform at the highest level because they will never suffer from blisters or skin irritation due to sweat or chafing. Researchers at the Dry Goods Brand have incorporated the absolute cutting edge of molecular chemistry to create this amazing skin protection system for athletes. If an athlete needs to perform at the highest level, there is no substitute for the Dry Goods technology.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

We need one logo that will work in a one-color design. This logo will be featured on our products packaging (a cylinder), on our products instruction manuals and on the product itself. The logo can feature up to three (3) colors but must also work well as a single-color logo (we recommend showing single-color and multi-color options). Less is more in this case.

The logo should be prominently wordmark but can use a symbol if it fits. The wordmark should use the Dry Goods name. This name can be all caps, all lowercase or a combination of the two (e.g. DryGoods). The name does not need to have a space (e.g. drygoods, or DRYGOODS) as long as it is still easy to read as two words. We are particularly interested in distinctive, masculine, tactical-looking wordmarks that really make the Dry Goods name fit with its high-performance athletic application.

The logo should be simple, bold and masculine. It must pass the t-shirt test (e.g. look cool blown-up in the center of an athletic guys t-shirt). The sharp look of the logo should reflect Dry Goods position as the absolute pinnacle of skin protection solutions. The logo should look like it belongs on a piece of athletic equipment, because thats what Dry Goods is.

As mentioned above, our package is an aluminum cylinder (1.5 in diameter, 7 inches high). Feel free to show your logo on such a package (vertically or horizontally oriented) and recommend package colors (if you want). You may also show the logos independent of packaging, but we would prefer to see what the logo looks like on a cylindrical shape.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:

The Dry Goods brand targets dedicated athletes. These athletes are used to working with top of the line athletic equipment and they respect brands that stand for high-performance, intelligent preparation, and game-winning dominance.
