What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
ProfSquare
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
The naming is formed by Prof (professor) + Square (Open place, local, where an appointment could be made). Major concepts to communicate:
*It is social site to share knowledge and skills, so education is important
*Anyone can teach and everyone can learn, so diversity and openness should be encouraged
*It is not an elearning site, knowledge is transfered face to face, so physical proximity is a must
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
I love text+image logos.
*A well designed text that could go by itself in a small space (maybe with a little symbolic inside, such as Amazon)
*A logo that complements the text and were smartly (and funny) connected to the name or the activity (http://logopond.com/logos/f3887d72cc53e3... or http://rajasandhu.com/images/logos/wikin...
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
I don't have neither a website nor a graphic identity to take them as a reference. I thought to develop them from the look of the logo. Thus, I ask for a little bit of flexibility on changing colors in order to adapt to different backgrounds if necessary.
I visualize the website like modern, minimalist, with one stronger color accompanied by white and grey. For example I like the style of Airbnb.
