LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
The Professional Womens Forum (PWF) is a cross-functional network operating to help women at Dial achieve their career potential in support of Henkel's Vision and Values and Dial's business goals.
The Dial Corporation is well-known in the United States for its strong brands such Dial, Tone, Right Guard, Purex, Soft n Dri, and Renuzit. Dial is owned by a European consumer products giant Henkel, based out of Dusseldorf, Germany.
The Professional Womens Forum is open to all employees at Dial - no matter what their level is within the company. The PWF is also open to any employee, regardless of gender, who feels they might benefit from our organization.
We help our members by providing:
-Support, advice, and guidance related to career development
-Career building
-Workshops to help develop skills needed for upward mobility
-Support in balancing work and personal life issues
-Opportunities to volunteer and enhance the lives of women in our community
-Personal and professional networking
-Familiarity with organizations, services and needs in our community
-Experience in planning and executing events
-Valuable leadership experience
-And fun all at the same time!
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
PWF is looking for a logo to represent our group both within Dial and outside to the community. We would like two versions of the logo: One which would include the total phrase Professional Womens Forum and one that depicts the abbreviation, PWF. This logo will be the face of our group. It should denote strength, confidence, diversity, energy, teamwork, unity, professionalism, networking, and mentoring.
Our logo will be needed in the following formats:
Version in .jpg for PPT presentations
Transparent .jpg
Layered Illustrator files
Possible 1-color format for printing on promotional items
We need a special schedule to allow our members to participate in choosing the top 3 and then the winning design:
Start date: April 27
End date: May 11
Top 3 announcement: May 15
Final decision: May 22
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Primarily Dials Professional Womens Forum members and Dial employees, but the logo will be seen by other functional areas and throughout the community. It needs to depict to the audience that the Forum is a professional organization to help women contribute strong business and career results. It should not depict that it is just a womens social group. We want the logo to appeal to people at all levels of the organization, and all functions within the organization.
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
Simplicity is key, nothing fancy.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The logo should not depict a womens face or figure in any aspect.
The logo should not have any distinct feminine images such as flowers, hearts, flowy script fronts, etc.
