What is the exact name you would like in your logo?

pilates on cortelyou

What is your industry?

Entertainment and Sports

What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?

1. what it is (pilates studio)
2. where it is (on cortelyou road, brooklyn)
3. good taste

What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)

please see link with reference.

1. I believe i am primarily interested in type treatments with color. i think I want pilates 'above' courtelyou on 2 lines & 'on' a smaller element. all font caps or all lower case. see 'references_pilates_on_rugby' image in link.

2. i have 2 color sets, a warm and a cold option. don't need to use every color in either set. but don't mix sets. please use colors from one set only.

3. don't love most executions of 'pilates figures' in logos. the only shape i could potentially see being used is the side plank pose with the arm overhead like the reference i found on line. if i use any 'figure' at all, i believe i would like to try a 'repeated shape' effect within the given color palettes. i've enclosed a poor execution of the idea. i'd like the shading of the figures to be much more gradual. i'm open to seeing an ingenious way of integrating the side plank pose (i'm particular about this pose only) -- but it is not necessary to have a figure in the logo.

4. in the end i'd like the final composition to be a horizontal rectangle approx 8 x 5 aspect ratio. I'd like vector art so i can make big signs or small stationary.
