LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
I started my own photography business last year and I'm tired of not having a "real" logo. I may be good at being creative with photos - but my attempts at a logo are downright awful!
HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
I need a logo that looks professional and is simple, but yet stands out. I will need the logo to work on a white, black or grey background most of the time. However, it should be something that works with other colors fairly well too. For colors of the logo - I'm open. It shouldn't be overly colorful - no rainbows of color please. At least two colors - max of three of four. Something that will work well when converted to black and white.
This logo will be used on my website, my business cards, my invoices - everything. Including as a watermark on pictures as well.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Everyone and anyone...
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
The name "Samgra Photos" somehow. Currently, I have "The photography of Jennifer Hanson" in it kind of ... honestly that started as filler cause it looked too plain. If you do add it to the design, it should be in such a way that I can also take it off and it still looks okay.
Also, something that could be added, but not required... but also I would need the ability to take it off and the logo would still look okay... something kind of artsy added around the logo to make it more present... more there? Tthis will help when using the logo as a watermark on pictures. Don't let the artsy theme go to far though - the logo should still look very professional and simple.
I'm not necessarily a fan of the script lettering that my current logo (if you can call it that) has... it could stay or go.
