What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Generally I prefer image plus text. In this case, the KL and the JZ are initials of two people's names, so it may be interesting to have a dividing graphic between the two pairs of initials. I'm fairly open, however.
Do you have any other info or links you want to share?
This is going to be used for one thing: to create personal business cards for a semi-retired couple. KL and JZ are our initials. We want to be able to hand business cards to people without having them associated with a specific business.
The most likely encounters will be during travel or at the occasional business or financial services conference we attend. The cards should reflect our personalities, which include a sense of adventure and playfulness, but, above all, the logo (and the resulting cards) should convey a sense of professionalism. We do get contacted to provide advisory services, and the logo should not be out of place in a business context.
We each have expertise in different fields (I, marketing; he, finance & operations), so we run into different people. I sort of envision having a logo centrally located at the top of the business card. On my cards (I'm the KL), my name and contact information would be on the left side; on his card, the information would be on the right side. (I do not envision that we would have shared cards, however; just a shared logo.)
Do not feel constrained by the image I mention above; I'm looking to the www.crowdspring.community to come up with something better than I can imagine.
I'm open-minded on color.
Thanks very much!
