We're looking for a unique logo design that can be used on all kinds of online and offline media; it should be reproducible in black and white as well as colour and look good in small sizes such as icons.
Since we're an online payment service, our logo is going to be seen together with logos of other payment methods, such as Visa, Mastercard or PayPal. Please see https://www.panic.com/transmit/buy.html for an example. Our logo should fit into this crowd, stand out and still be recognizable.
It is undecided whether we'll spell pay900 in upper case, mixed case, or lower case, so please feel free to be creative.
The logo is going to be used on adult web sites as well and should still be visible and remarkable.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
daopay is our premium brand for secure online payments in family friendly, G to PG-rated online environments (web sites, social networks, music, games).
With pay900, we're looking to establish a brand that targets more mature audiences for R to X-rated digital content (games, audio, video, dating, other services).
The logo should appeal to both the merchants and consumers.
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
We service a global audience, so please avoid any symbols that express religious or political preferences.
Our current web page for daopay (http://www.daopay.com/) is rather subtle and discreet, which fits our current audience. This is what pay900 is NOT going to be :)
Pay900 will be more "aggressive", more adult- and more games-oriented.
