I write a blog called Paleo-Future (http://www.paleofuture.com/) that looks at past visions of the future, a genre commonly called retro-futurism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retro-futur...).
Popular images on my site include robot maids, hoverboards, flying cars, jetpacks... all the futuristic innovations we were supposed to have by the year 2000.
