LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT US:
OrsonEye is software that you put in your surveillance camera that makes it automatically upload an image to Flickr whenever something interesting happens.
It is free and easy enough to set up that you can do it yourself. Compare this to normal security camera systems that are very expensive and complicated and never really work right anyway.
It is basically a remote eyeball that you can put anywhere you want to see something.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
A logo that will work everywhere from the website to the favicon to the stickers you can put on your camera.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Customers are both people who could get a fancy, expensive security system but shouldn't and normal people who just want a quick and cheap and easy way to check on their cat (dog, goldfish, driveway, thermostat, ...) while they are at work (on vacation, upstairs, on the subway).
WE LIKE THESE DESIGNS:
I've been using a courier font on the website and I think it looks right. It is fixed font so it is techy but also a bit old-timey.
I think maybe I want a very simple line-art icon. I was thinking maybe something that plays on the soviet era CCCP poster motif- sort visually ironic to the fact that an orsoneye camera is really the opposite of big brother because you control it.
Maybe something with a stylized eye or camera, maybe not.
But what do I know? You tell me what I want.... :)
WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE (or we don't want to see) THIS IN OUR DESIGN:
Mind wide open...
