HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:
We need a logo that can be used online and in print. It needs to be versatile enough that it can work in a variety of formats and backgrounds. We will also need it in all the various technical formats like jpg, eps, etc.
We love CrowdSpring. HOWEVER, we are a little concerned because most of the brands that use it are technology oriented and are more corporate brands. Although we do sell consumer electronics, we are not a straight tech company. We are a consumer company that helps people get what they want with at a much lower total cost ownership once you factor in financing costs. Therefore, we want logo submissions that reflact our business and target customer which is a consumer and not a business.
The logo should be:

Exciting
Clean
Not cheezy!!!

Bold
Strong

We typically like logos with great marks. However, the name of our company is pretty text heavy so it might make more sense to use the words as part of the logo. Also, since most of our enrollment takes place online, we probably want .com in the name.
OUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS:
Because our service/financing is an employee benefit, only employees of companies that have enrolled in our program are eligible. They are nationwide. They have incomes that range from $18,000 to $50,000 per year. They have varying degrees of education. Their biggest concern is getting a "great deal" and not being "ripped off".
We want them to see our logo and think wow this is AWESOME. I had no idea there was such a better way to finance these purchases. I hate that I have wasted so much money with credit cards, rent to own, in store financing, etc.
We also want them to think this is super easy. It takes just a few minutes to pick out what they want (btw, its all top of the line brands so its just like the stuff you would be getting at Circuit City or Best Buy) and then its shipped right to their front door.
The big goal is for people who hear about us to think "I have to check these guys out"

No orange or red please. The logo will be the foundation of our visual voice so it is really important that is great off the start. That's why only folks that are submitting GREAT work should apply.
